I have now decided I want to get lots of white and cream cushions to put on my bed, I love the fresh clean look! :) to relaxing! I am yet to get the bed I want I keep spending my money of other things! but Its going to be the next thing that gets done.
My shelves are now all organised and tidy, I use my glossyboxes as storage boxes, they are perfect and look so cute!
My brother got me this picture, I love it! and it goes perfectly in my room!
I love having flowers in my room! They make me happy! :)

New year... New Room

I have been wanting to redecorate my room for months! but I have never had the money or time to do it. I am so Picky when it comes come furniture and fabrics so I have I have been looking around and found some amazing Bedroom furniture, I now have so many ideas! I can't wait to get started :)
My room is quiet small, so I normally find it very hard to find nice beds. I love the film 'bed knobs and broom sticks' and i have always wanted a bed like the one in it, but I didn't want anything on the end. In this years NEXT Spring/Summer catalog I found this bed! I fell in love as soon as I saw it!
This bed in Single only costs £150 which I think is so good!
I also love wall art, I currently don't have much on my walls and I want to get a few cute statement pieces. This I love! I Love the saying and how it has been created to look! It almost looks home made! I may even try to recreate this myself as this is quiet expensive for what it is, £30 also in the NEXT Spring/Summer catalog.
I recently came across a beautiful furniture online store called 'thedormyhouse' They do amazing pieces of furniture! This cute little bed side table I found on there is perfect for my room! I love the little draws! Everry bit or storage space in always helpful, for any girl. The little table if  ordered unstained and unpainted costs £160, however if you the company to paint and protect it it costs extra, You can also choose the handles you want on it. I chose for it to be in White antique with brass knobs to match the bed! This would cost £265! (I seriously have a lot of saving to do)
This mirror is also from the same site! I have always wanted a floor length mirror but I just can't find one anywhere! But how stunning is this!! Sadly I will probably never own it as it cost £450!! I know right!! Again you can pick What colour you want it to be painted, I think this is such a good idea because it makes it easier to find a piece of furniture! How often have you found something perfect but the colour just woudn't work!
The sad news is I will probably never get some of these things, but the bed I am currently saving for and I will work from there! :) I am also looking for a pretty wallpaper, do any of you know a good place to get wallpaper from?

This is my dream room!! Whats your dream room!
Happy Decorating!

HOTD - Hair Bow

Lately I have been obsessed with bows I love anything to do with bows, bows on clothes, bows in textiles, bow head bands everything

So the other day I was playing around with my hair and also after reading 'NewEnglandRomance's recent post on hair bows I was trying it out myself and came out with this...
Its not the nest qulity picture because I don't have a camera atm, but I loved how my bow turned out and how easy it was to do!!
Basically
  1. Tie your hair into a ponytail but one looser than you would normally.
  2. Take a small bit from the top of the ponytail and pin it out of the way on the top of you head.
  3. Then tie your ponytail into a loop pony.
  4. Split the loop in half and pin into place
  5. The bit you look out of the ponytail, now pull over the middle of the two parts
  6. then just fiddle around with it until it sits and looks exactly how you want it and hairspray it!
I never used to be able to do things like this my hair was always too short and thin, but I recently Changed my hair care and wow has it made a difference!
Its the easy! :) I love it, it can be worn for everyday or be dressed up and worn for formal events!
If you give it a go I would love to see pictures so tweet me!

Guest Post #3 - Claire Louise - XxDollyBlossom

So here is Guest post number 2 and it the beautiful Claire Louise from XxDollyBlossom. I'll give you all some advise! Go and follow her she is such a lovely girl and her blog is so cute I love it!
I have read though her post and I love it! I love Scrapbooking too! :) Thank you so much Sophie! This is an amazing post!
Right now you lovely ladies get reading :D xxx

A Scrapbook Is A Girls Best Friend!

Hello! I'm Claire Louise and I blog over at XxDollyBlossom. When Cara Louise asked me to do a guest post on her blog I was so excited but had a mass panic about what to blog about because I'd never done one before and had no idea what to write about, I nearly had a breakdown ha! But I thought I would share with you how my scrapbook has become my life Bible!

Do you buy magazines and never end up throwing them away because there's always something in them you want to keep? I used to be like that until I went to University and found my room in halls was nothing more than a cupboard. I knew it was time to part with the boxes and boxes of my beloved magazines, some of them from years ago eek!

I wanted to keep certain pages or snippets from each one. Every since I was little I had always had a diary or scrapbook so I thought why not cut the bits out and have a scrapbook with everything in! I was straight to my local Paperchase to purchase a notebook which would do the job! Now its my scrapbook on my shelf rather than boxes of old magazines!

So this is my scrapbook Bible and some of the things I have in...
I love the butterflies and all the beautiful colours!
This page is basically a mass I saw these and want them! Scrapbooks are great for creating wish lists. I'm addicted to shopping, it makes me happy in a way I can't explain I just love spending money but I find I don't binge shop as much! Sticking things I want into the scrapbook makes me feel like in some way I now own them! It gives me as much of a rush as going out and buying them would so I end up saving money from not actually going shopping!
I also stick in beauty tips and any internet/shop advertisements I might want to take a look in the future.

I have not shown you in any of the pictures (because I'm ashamed of my shabby handwriting)  but I write the date at the top of the page every time I stick things in. This means my scrapbook becomes almost like a visual diary. I think it will be interesting to look back in years to come at what my fashion sense and wants were like!  Plus you will be surprised at how much you can tell about what mood you were in by looking back at what you stuck in. For example if I'm feeling insecure it will most likely me exercise and diet tips!
I've recently started a wedding scrapbook! This has been a huge help in planning my wedding. Also another cute notebook from Paperchase!
Do you keep a scrapbook?
Are you ready to let go of those old magazines and make your own Bible?
I hope your enjoyed my very first guest post, thank you for reading it!

Baking Day

Well I have a day off work today and after having a not so nice day yesterday I wanted to keep myself busy, So I decided that today was going to be a baking day :)
I love baking but I just never have the time to do it and to be honest I not the best at it, so I kept it easy today and just made some cupcakes and decorated them :)
Decorating cakes is actually very calming :) I feel like I have achieved something today :) haha
The cupcakes are of course chocolate and the icing is vanilla :) with yummy sweet things on top :)

The rainbow cases mini marshmallows and white chocolate flakes and the pink icing are all from Asda, the other things I just found in my cupboard. :)
Productive day I think :)

Don't forget to 'ask me anything' I am excited to answer questions and let others find your blogs!

Home Made Facial Scrub :)

Do you have acne, sun spots, dry skin, freckles? Want to get rid of them?
This is soo easy to do and I swear by it :)

You only need three things;
Lemon/Lemon juice
Suger- White or Brown
And cotton pads

firstly just rinse your face in warm water.
Then take a cotton pad, soak some Lemon juice on to it and sugar on top, then simple rub it all over your face in circular motions. Then simply just rinse your face again with warm water.

Your skin feels soo soft and smooth after!!
Its like given yourself a facial peel without the money and pain!

You can do it everyday but I would suggest once or twice a week, depending on your skin.

Hope its helped

How I spent my Sunday

Well I had nothing to do this Sunday, so I decided to make something. Thanks the the amazing imagination of my best friend who made some amazing cushions a few weeks ago. My only problem being that had no fabric to make anything, so I found an old dress that I don't where any more and used the pretty flowery fabric to make a Cushion.

The dress I used was just a plain pencil skirt dress, it had two layers of the flowery fabric over the skirt, I used the largest piece to make the Cushion.

I love this fabric, its so pretty and vintage, its really soft too and very easy to work with

To start with I measured the fabric to the size I wanted, I didn't want a massive cushion so I only measured the fabric 33cm by 33cm. I then cut the fabric and tacked it together with some pins, I find this helps me when it comes to using the sewing machine, its stops the material from moving around.
After sewing the fabric together, only sewing 3 of the sides, the side I didn't sew I folded over and used bondaweb to stick down the edge to create a neater edge to the cushion.
I then hand sewed on 4 buttons and 4 bits of ribbon to use as a way to close the cushion, I liked this idea better than a zip.

I added a cute little dove pin at the end, just to add a little bit to it =]

I hope you like it =], its nothing special and not amazingly well made, but I like it and to be honest I am rather proud aha =], it will have a place on my bed.

Keep creative =]
